The Eltham Football club is saddened to hear of the passing of 1953 Premiership player and 1956 Club Best & Fairest winner., Ken Dearing
The club wishes to express it’s sincere condolences to the Dearing family.
” My father Kenneth Dearing played for many years as a young man for Eltham Football Club and was very proud of his association with the club. My father played in the 1953 DVFL Premiership side and won the 1956 Division 1 Best & Fairest award. We still proudly display his best and fairest trophy after all these years. Sadly my father passed away yesterday aged 83 surrounded by family. My father was very proud of his time spent at the Eltham Football Club and I thought it only fitting to let you know of his passing. ”
