We are very excited to announce and welcome back Darren Cardamone, who has been appointed as the head coach for the senior women.
In joining Darren, Eltham would like to give a huge welcome to Colleen Gwynne. (AKA Gwynney) Gwynney has been appointed as the development coach for the 2025 season.
Darren has successfully coached the senior women over many years, taking them into finals each year, whilst also taking out the Div 2 Premiership in 2022. With a focus on player and team development, strategic game planning, encouraging a positive and inclusive team culture – we know Darren is set to make a great comeback.
Gwynney will be bringing a vast amount of skills and experiences from backline coach of the AFLW Adelaide in 2017 (Premiership Season). A long-time involvement with development and promoting NT women’s football, as a player/coach and was involved in 7 Premier League premierships and 9 successive Grand finals. Most recently coaching at Melbourne Grammar. We are incredibly lucky to have Gwynney onboard and part of the Panther family.
