A good turn up of both players and supporters at the intra-club practice match on Friday evening
Here is a wrap-up of some of players who impressed in the game
Anthony DiPaolo – Was impressive with his ground play.
Mathew Evans – Ran well and showed that he will be a weapon for us across half back.
James Reid – Provided a very solid performance across half back, read the play well and has started to stake a claim on one of our key defensive posts.
Josh Lorey – Has benefited from a strong pre-season. Was super impressive as a small forward, creating plenty of opportunities for his team mates.
Jamie Doukas – Very Lively up forward, created plenty of chances for himself.
Jye Lorey – Excellent 1st up start on the wing, will be a player to watch in 2015.
David Cox – Really impressive hit out by Coxy, showed us what we lacked in our midfield last year. Controlled the stoppages with smart play and clear instructions, he will definitely provide us with physicality and smarts in the lock down roles he will perform each week
Harry and Tommy Burns – Were probably the most impressive players on the ground. Harry, looks set to build on his impressive 2014, he was dominant at ground level as well as in the air. While Tommy gave us glimpses of how electrifying he COULD be. Another player to watch in 2015.

Just the one dampener on the night was the knee injury to Hayden Taylor. At the present time we are not sure how serious it is. We wish him a speedy recovery
