The weather was great and the course was in excellent condition during the Eltham Football Club Annual Golf Open.
In an unbelievable close result Neil O’Sullivan and his Team the Bean Counters (pictured above) scraped home to beat Hally’s Hero’s in a Count back.
It was so close it took 3 attempts to separate them.
This is a great result from Neil and his Team as they came last the previous year, according to Neil it was a case of hard Training and good recruiting that helped them over the line. (sounds Familiar)
In the individual events
Scratch Pro player Michael Freake would have taken 3 out of the four events but we had to limit him to one win.
One of the closest was the 8th hole where Matt Jessop absolutely creamed one down the middle, it was a huge drive.
In the Ladies individual events Deb won the nearest the pin and Mel won the Long Drive and as usual they all had a good time.
