Expression of interest for development coaches

The Eltham Football Club is committed to identifying and developing future Coaches for all the Senior Men’s & Women’s teams through a mentoring program.

We are confident that we will field two Under 19 Teams during season 2021 and have appointed a very experienced coaching group to oversee the coaching program in conjunction with our Senior Coach, Robert Hyde.

Paul Smith will coach the Under 19 Division 1 team with Stuart Biddle as his assistant coach – Both Paul & Stuart have had extensive Senior playing careers and coached top age junior football for many years.

Steve Kilby & Byron Smith will coach the Under 19 Division 2 team – Again, both Byron & Steve have great Senior playing experience and junior coaching records.

With such an experienced and diverse coaching group we have the perfect opportunity to align individuals wishing to broaden their coaching experience with this Under 19 Coaching panel.

I am looking for expressions of interest from anyone that would like to join this coaching mentoring program – You will have the opportunity to lead and support Under 19 training sessions, work with the senior coaching panel to understand game plans and take an active role on match days. The Club will support you through the CoachAFL official programs to have everything properly credentialed.

The ideal candidates for this opportunity would be current or past players or junior coaches wishing to develop their coaching capabilities.

We would consider expressions of interest from individuals wishing to participate for either half of the season or the entire season 2021.
