In the Under-17 Blue competition, Eltham produced a five-goal final term to storm past a gallant Research at Research Park. Leading by only one straight kick at the final change, the Panthers broke clear in the final term to win by 17 points on the back of a best-on-ground and seven-goal haul to Patrick Lipinski.
Other winners were the Under 15 Reds who had a 52 point win over Laurimar. Under 15 Girls and Under 14 Blues both had big wins against Mill Park. Under 13 Blues had a 49 point win against West Preston. Under 13 Greens also winners over South Morang. Under 12 Reds and Under 11 Greens were also winners over Mernda and Bundoora Park respectively.
