Work on new terracing work started bright and early today at our home ground at Central Park.

The dangerous potholes and exposed tree roots will be a thing of the past.

The works will do away with the old sleeper seating with four level of concrete terracing running from the players run out near the canteen through to just before the home coaching box. The concrete will be tinted in a dark colour as to cut down on glare in sunny conditions.

As well there will be slat seating in a reconstituted material and this will run the full length on all levels more than doubling the current seating capacity. The seating facilities will be the best in the Northern Football League.

The works have been contracted to Malcorp operated by long time club supporter Mal Hutchings
