We have a new no 29 at the football club please give a warm welcome to Tom Goodwin
Tom joins us from Corowa-Rutherglen up in the Ovens and Murray league! A big bodied ruckman that’s brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our football club.
Tom started his VFL career at Box Hill, where he played 2 seasons 2013-2014. After finding it hard to break into the Box Hill team, he found himself a new home at Coburg in 2015.
At Coburg Tom established himself as one of the best VFL ruckman which resulted in him winning the Coburg BNF in 2016. He was rewarded with the captaincy in 2017-2018 after a Stellar 2016 season. In 2017 he also featured in the VFL State team. In 2019 he left Coburg and moved to VFL club Port Melbourne where he spent 1 year.
In 2021 Tom made the move again up to the Ovens and Murray league where he joined past coach Peter German at Corowa. In 2021 his first year with Corowa Tom was awarded team of the year ruckman! Tom spent 2022 at Corowa aswell.
