Tim Currie joins the Panthers

Our Key position stocks for 2018 have been bolstered with the recruitment of Tim Currie from Williamstown VFL.

Tim a former Eltham Junior has been playing at Williamstown for the past past four years,  playing in 45 senior games (14 of these in 2017) with the seagulls including being an integral part of the Williamstown VFL Senior Premiership team in 2015.

Prior to his stint at Williamstown, Tim played with both the Northern Knights and Northern Blues.

Tim, the younger brother of current Eltham player and former captain Paul,  has played most of his recent football in the backline, but is versatile and can also be used on the forward line as well

We welcome Tim back to the club.

From the Williamstown website Currie still showed that he has the potential for the next level when he played a standout role in the club’s 2016 finals series. Versatile enough to play on a number of different sized forwards, Currie’s flexibility is key for the Seagulls when he is firing on all cylinders
