The Eltham Football Club is saddened to announce the recent passing of Ian Young.
Ian arrived at the Club in 1999 and held many roles including Senior Assistant Coach to Gary Jessop, Wayne Freeman and Phil Maylin to Chairman of Selectors, Fitness Advisor and Runner. He was also part of the inaugural Eltham Veterans side for many years helping Shark coaching them as well.
Survived by loving wife Betty and children Stacey and Dale whom we offer our thoughts and prayers at this time.
Youngy was 60 years old when he lost his brave battle with cancer on the weekend.
A great man taken too soon.
